Brew Log

Record each cup's recipe and taste, then write down your next change — one variable, one direction. Stored only on this device; no account needed.

View as Markdown

A log is not useful because it is complete. It is useful because every cup leaves one decision behind: next cup, change one variable. Brew the next cup with that change, come back to “what you changed last time, and what happened”, and cause and effect slowly come into focus.

Not sure what to change? Diagnose it in Fix My Coffee first. To practise one variable systematically, run a Real Lab — lab records appear here too.

This log lives only in this browser on this device: no account, no upload. Clearing browser data deletes it too — export it now and then.

Save this cup

Only “Next change” is required (marked *). Record as much of the rest as you like.
